| Zorbax Rapid Resolution HT (RRHT)
columns are a new technology for ultra-fast HPLC separations with
more resolving power of small molecules. Zorbax RRHT is the first
sub-2µm (1.8µm), totally porous packing available for
ultra-fast separations including high throughput analyses and high
speed LC/MS. The small particles provide the high resolving power
while very short column lengths (15-50mm) enable the high-speed
analyses. |

| Zorbax RRHT is the ideal product
for applications requiring fast chromatography including high throughput
analyses where speed, while maintaining resolution, is the most
important attribute of the column. Applications include high throughput
screening of the reaction products from combinatorial chemistry,
content uniformity, and stability testing. These new columns nearly
double lab productivity vs. columns containing 3.5µm packing. |

| Zorbax RRHT is also ideal for LC/MS applications, which already
employ short columns, but need more resolution without increasing
the analysis time. Additional resolution enables more complex samples
to be resolved in the same amount of time. |

| Agilent Zorbax Rapid Resolution columns, with a 3.5µm particle
size, reduce analysis time and increase sample throughput for any
application compared to 5µm columns. Rapid Resolution columns
are available from 15-150 mm in both 4.6 and 2.1 mm internal diameters,
so the best configurations are available for high-throughput, LC/MS,
combinatorial chemistry and rapid analytical applications. Rapid
Resolution 3.5µm particles have superior mechanical strength,
so every column has an extremely stable packed bed and provides
comparable lifetime to 5µm columns. These are available in
all of the modern ZORBAX bonded phases - StableBond, Eclipse XDB,
Bonus-RP, and Extend-C18. |
